“We suspected the experiment had gone astray when the nanobot returned empty-handed. However, planet 3598 looks promising sir. The latest nanobot probe reports very little technological advancement so the next cull can be accomplished with minimum effort.

Once cleared of native vegetation and the usual excess moisture problems. We’ll be ready to install your new zoological garden in plenty of time for the party”.

‘Don’t forget to save one or two native species for me Metho’.

“Don’t I always, Your Highness?”

‘How far is it Metho?’

“It’s in blue sector sir; according to scans on the dominant species the inhabitants call it Earth.”

This is Okay.   There wasn't much that allowed me to judge it.   It's one of those mediocre pieces of prose that stretches the line between having nothing wrong with it and having nothing good enough inside to mention.

Description may suffice.

don't worry about it, critiquing a member's work who may have departed can still serve as an opportunity to learn.

Would it have been worth while,
To have bitten off the matter with a smile,
To have squeezed the universe into a ball
To roll it toward some overwhelming question
To say: "I am Lazarus, come from the dead,
Come back to tell you all, I shall tell you all"

T.S. Eliot
